In mid-May and early June, cand. med. Julia Kielb and Dr. Rodja Ipek (magnetic resonance imaging work group, senior physician Dr. Cramer) were pleased to receive funding from the DSHF and DFG.
On May 15, 2023, Julia Kielb received the gratifying news about a 12-month grant (6,000 euros) from the Deutsche Stiftung für Herzforschung (German Foundation for Heart Research).
On June 1, 2023, Dr. Ipek received a DFG grant within the framework of a Walther Benjamin Research Fellowship for a 24-month stay abroad in Oxford. The research amount is yet to be determined by the DFG. Dr. Ipek's research topic is "Ectopic lipid accumulation and myocardial energetics in diabetic patients after myocardial infarction."
